I agree whole heartedly with your assessment, Maria.

There is no 'left' which is why fascism is on a steep incline.

Privatized progessivism produces, in the US, controlled opposition or what Herbert Marcuse called "repressive tolerance".

Democracynow is one good example.

Chasing chump change that drops from the pockets of drunken billionaires is not a way to beat capitalism.

It is a recipe for fascism, as Mussolini knew and as I think I have posted at your site before but will again:

“Fascism recognises the real needs which gave rise to socialism and trade-unionism, giving them due weight in the guild or corporative system in which divergent interests are coordinated and harmonised in the unity of the State.”

Benito Mussolini, 1935, The Doctrine of Fascism, Firenze:Vallecchi Editore. (p.15)

Of course in America the Biden Weimar moment is over and the union leadership corrupt.

All a recipe to bake Mussolini's cake.

However, I think that we underestimate the stupidity of people, including ourselves.

Here is an interesting but short fifteen minute video on a rarely heard of or seen idea of 'stupidity' as the greatest impetus to positive social change.

I do not agree with all of it but find the concept itself of interest.

For it goes to the issue of not just class consciousness, but also socializes stupidity as a concept that is 'social' not individual.

I wish you had a patreon account.
