It is not enough to seek to answer questions. One must seek to question answers.

This requires critical thinking, taking a critical self-inventory and adopting critical attitudes such as empathy and courage.

We are in the age of Post-Enlightenment and thus appealing to 'facts' or evidence for claims is not understood, taught or used by most people.

Appeals to emotion works quite well.

That is why Hollywood is so important to the Empire and why oligarchs and plutocrats control most major media.

Capitalism is not only the commodification of the individual and products made, but it is also the colonization of the mind.

The fact that few are asking questions in Eastern Europe is due to historical trauma, rapid change, lack of intellectual courage and of course the real fear of fascist retribution.

The US is no bastion of critical thinking and yes, the shows you mention do have a different critical thinking narrative. But when they become a threat they will be brought down.

It is the appearance of freedom that are the fumes the US i still living off.

Critical thinking in the US is rare. In Texas it is illegal in the schools.

Without the war the stock market would crash.

The elites know this.

Financialization comes with repressive capitalist accumulation such as internal warfare and external oppression as the motor vehicle for accumulation.

Eastern Europe and in fact all Europe is facing collapse due to the US and its goal of continuing hegemony.

Europe means nothing to the US but markets.

The controlled demolition of Europe has been going on for some time.
